After 11 years together, on the 2nd of August 2017 we finally became Mr and Mrs. If you know us, you’ll know that we hate fuss so we planned an intimate and low-key destination wedding with our nearest and dearest. We wanted everyone to have an excuse for a holiday so we got married in one of our favourite places in Australia (and basically the furthest you can get from Melbourne without leaving the country), Far North Queensland. Words cannot describe how perfect and love-filled our day was.
We held the ceremony and reception on the one property – a gorgeous private estate hidden away in the oldest rainforest on earth, the Daintree. Our bridal party and families flew up a few days before the wedding and we all stayed at the house together for just under a week. Looking back at our photos from the day, we just look so unbelievably happy. My heart is so full of love.
